Link Google Assistant Voice Control to Mercator Ikuü
Voice control makes your smart products even easier to use. It provides the flexibility of hands-free control, which is great for when your hands are full or when you can’t reach for your phone or tablet. With simple voice commands, you can access a wide range of features, such as adjusting the brightness of your lights, turning your lights on or off, or activating scenes.
To control your Mercator Ikuü products via Google Assistant, follow the steps below. For voice control via Amazon Alexa please click here. To follow the steps below you will need a Google account and your Mercator Ikuü username and password.
If you are unsure of your Mercator Ikuü username, follow the ‘Find Your Mercator Ikuü Username’ instructions below. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it using the ‘Create a New Mercator Ikuü Password’ instructions.
- Make sure you are signed into the Mercator Ikuü account you want to link to Google Home for voice control with Google Assistant
- Open the Google Home app
- Tap + (top left) > set up device > Works with Google
- Tap the ‘search’ icon (top right) then type ‘Mercator Ikuu’ in the search bar
- Tap ‘Agree and link’
- You will see a pop-up with ‘Mercator Ikuu is linked’ once the linking process is complete
After your account is linked, Google will automatically search for any Mercator Ikuü devices that are compatible with Google Assistant voice control. You can configure these products in the google home app device list. When you add a new product to your Mercator Ikuü account it will automatically be added to your google home device list, unless you have unlinked your Mercator Ikuü account from Google home. At any time, you can prompt google to search for new devices by saying ‘hey google, sync devices’. This process can take a few minutes.
